ARAVEN OBTAINS THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE WITH NEW MIGRATION REGULATIONS

The company strictly complies with the European Directive applying to plastic materials in contact with foodstuffs

Food Safety is at the core of the work carried out by ARAVEN and a source of inspiration for the development of new products.

(Zaragoza, 17th June 2009).- ARAVEN, the Zaragoza-based company, devoted to the design, manufacture and marketing of organization and storage articles, has adapted to the new Migration Regulations (2008/39/EU Directive) that apply to plastic materials intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. With this certificate of compliance the company once again shows that Food Safety is the principle that guides its work and a source of inspiration in the development of new products.
Plastics, as is the case of all other materials, release certain substances that transfer to the elements or components surrounding them. This phenomenon is known as “migration”. The new European regulation defines maximum levels of migration for each of the substances that have to be controlled and for the sum of them. Araven strictly complies with this regulation.

The importance that ARAVEN places on safety and quality means that its customers have no worries with regards to sanctions, as the company offers a product that is 100% safe. The company also strictly complies with all hygiene and health regulations and has ISO9001 Quality Certification.

INNOVATION AT THE SERVICE OF FOOD SAFETY IN THE CATERING INDUSTRY

ARAVEN has also been the first company to launch other products that include the very latest advances in compliance with health and hygiene norms. An example of this is its wide range of airtight polycarbonate containers that incorporate in a permanent label to allow traceability without having to stick and peel off paper stickers which leave anti-hygienic residues. The label, which is filled in using the special  HORECA MARKER PEN , is the most hygienic, cost-effective and safe system and complies with the health and hygiene norms (CE Reg. no. 852/2004 / Reg. 178/ 2002).

ARAVEN also produces accessible food containers, which, apart from having a stackable design, are based on the F.I.F.O stock control system that is recommended by the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) international food safety standard.
